Warhammer Survivors Gets a November 2026 Release Date

Auroch Digital will release Warhammer Survivors on 10 November 2026 for PC, consoles and mobile. A Steam and Xbox demo is available now, and Xbox Game Pass access will begin at launch.

Warhammer Survivors now has a firm release date. Auroch Digital will launch the game on 10 November 2026 across PC, consoles and mobile.

The release will arrive at the same time on Steam, GOG, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS and Android.

Launch platforms and price

Warhammer Survivors will cost £6.39, $7.99 or €7.49. A 10% launch and pre-order discount will be available on select platforms. Xbox Game Pass subscribers will be able to play it at launch.

The game is taking a broad approach from day one instead of rolling out platform by platform. The confirmed date is 10 November 2026. The listed price covers three currencies.

Pre-orders and pre-registration are opening on PlayStation, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, Android and iOS. In select territories, PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch pre-orders begin on 6 October 2026. Xbox Series X|S pre-orders start on 27 October 2026.

PlayStation also confirmed that its PS5 pre-order opened on 6 October. PlayStation Plus subscribers receive a 10% discount when they pre-order.

The game is coming to two PC storefronts, two Nintendo Switch systems, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S and both major mobile operating systems. The supplied material does not include platform-specific performance targets, resolution claims or technical specifications.

Two Warhammer universes

Warhammer Survivors uses the survivors-like format associated with Vampire Survivors. It draws on Warhammer 40,000 and Warhammer: Age of Sigmar.

Players control characters who collect and improve weapons while facing growing enemy swarms. The action takes place in fast-moving bullet-heaven runs.

According to IGN, the two settings are separate parts of the game. Each has its own levels, unlockable elements and achievements. They are not one blended progression track.

The announced roster includes more than 40 playable characters. One of them is Malum Caedo from Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun.

PlayStation Blog also named Morvenn Vahl and Lyssa Revenya. The wider line-up draws from the 41st Millennium and the Mortal Realms. That gives the game two distinct Warhammer settings for its compact roguelite runs.

The arsenal contains more than 75 weapons. Confirmed examples include the Chainsword and Orbital Bombardment. The game also includes Warhammer hobby references such as buckets of dice and Nuln Oil.

Those details give the setting a playful edge. The basic pressure of surviving the swarms remains in place.

Demo and pre-orders

A new demo is available now on Steam and through Xbox. It arrives ahead of the full release on 10 November 2026.

The demo adds two playable champions. One is Catachan Legend from Warhammer 40,000. The other is Lyssa Revenya from Age of Sigmar, who is described as an ally to Callis and Toll.

GOSU Gamers identified both characters as additions to the new demo. Auroch Digital has also made changes based on community feedback.

The demo shows how the game currently plays. It is not a review build, though, and it does not establish final performance on every announced platform.

The supplied announcement does not give a stage count, session length or technical settings. It also does not say whether demo progress will carry over to the full release.

The cross-platform launch follows the same broad interest in wave-based combat seen in earlier coverage of another horde-focused game. Warhammer Survivors takes a smaller, arcade-led approach.

Auroch Digital is developing the game with poncle, the studio behind Vampire Survivors. Warhammer Survivors is presented as a standalone Warhammer game, not an official Vampire Survivors spin-off.

IGN describes the project as an effort to bring together the strengths of both properties. It is not simply a licensed clone of Vampire Survivors.

What players can expect

The planned package includes multiple modes and stages. It also has passive abilities, power-ups and unlockable options that can change the usual rules.

Collectables and hidden secrets are part of the design. The enemy line-up includes major monsters such as the Norn Emissary, which will challenge experienced survivors-like players.

That feature list points to a replay-focused game. Several practical details are still missing.

The announcement does not confirm local or online multiplayer, save support, input options, accessibility features or differences between mobile controls. It also does not say whether all versions will have the same content.

There are no independent performance measurements. The announcement gives no indication of how the game will run on either Nintendo Switch model.

Auroch Digital's past work adds some context. The Bristol studio developed Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun and is also working on Warhammer 40,000: Boltgun 2.

poncle brings the Vampire Survivors connection that shapes the game's genre. Games Workshop supplies the two Warhammer universes, along with their characters and imagery.

A roguelite run usually resets most temporary progress after defeat. Permanent unlocks can then strengthen later attempts.

That structure makes weapon evolution and passive upgrades central to the long-term loop. The announcement does not explain the exact reset rules in Warhammer Survivors.

What is confirmed is a low-priced release across several platforms, a playable demo and a roster of more than 40 Warhammer characters. On that evidence, this is a focused arcade adaptation, not a promise of technical spectacle. Its appeal will depend on how well the swarm combat and progression work across each version.
