Peanut Button's hand-drawn horror comedy reaches its full release on Meta Quest on 21 October. The update adds the story's conclusion and new areas, plus a map and an optional jump-scare warning.

The route through Riddlewood Manor runs through shifting dimensions and the Catacombs before players reach the estate's final horrors.

Peanut Button will bring the VR adventure out of Early Access on Meta Quest on 21 October, adding the conclusion to its story. The full release also introduces new areas, a map system and an optional warning for jump scares.

The ending reveals the Riddlewood family's tragic fate. It extends the existing Early Access adventure rather than replacing it with a separate release.

For current players, the missing conclusion arrives alongside more places to explore. Peanut Button has also announced a map to help players navigate the manor's twisting layout. The studio has not said how the map works or whether it marks objectives automatically.

Jump scares remain in the game, but the full release will include an optional warning setting for players who want advance notice. It offers a heads-up, not a way to remove the scares.

Peanut Button describes Riddlewood Manor as designed for seated VR and native hand tracking. Players can explore with their bare hands. During story moments, those hands can transform into spectral ghosts or glitching demonic claws. The announcement presents the changes as part of the narrative, but gives no independent testing or technical detail on how they are triggered.

The developer also says the game is compatible with the newly announced Meta VR Glasses. That claim has not been independently verified. The announcement names no specific headset models and does not explain whether support differs by device. The confirmed storefront is Meta Quest.

Peanut Button is best known for the Secret of Retropolis series. With Riddlewood Manor, the studio brings its hand-drawn style to a darker comic escape-room game, with voice acting supporting the story. The announcement and trailer describe the game's style and features, but provide no performance measurements or detailed breakdown of the final build.

The full version reaches the Meta Quest Store on 21 October. Its price rises from $9.99 in Early Access to $14.99 at full release. Players who buy the game during the final days of Early Access will receive the full-version upgrade at no extra cost. The announcement does not say when those final days begin.

Another October release date appears in NGB's coverage: Blind Descent's co-op test is scheduled to begin on 14 October, ahead of its PC Early Access launch. It is a separate game on a different platform.

Hand tracking lets players use tracked hand movements as input instead of relying solely on standard controllers. In Riddlewood Manor, Peanut Button ties the feature to the seated format and the on-screen hand transformations. The announcement confirms that hand tracking is included, but offers no independent assessment of its accuracy or performance.
