Pan Studio has rolled out the Paradise Prelude update for Duet Night Abyss, bringing a new playable character, seasonal cosmetics and a series of quality-of-life changes to the hybrid action RPG. The update is now available as a free download on Steam, Epic Games Store, iOS and Android, with all platforms receiving the same content set.
New character Ada and gameplay features
The headline addition is Ada, a Hydro-aligned High Priestess known as the Dreamweaver of Paradise. Ada's backstory is defined by two contrasting sets of memories-one from her war-torn hometown, Arcano, and another from a fantasy paradise. This duality is reflected in her combat style, which features both Summon and Copy abilities. Ada can be unlocked through the limited-time Immersive Theatre reward pool, which also includes new weapons such as the dual pistol, The Best Day. Her exclusive Snowlight Chase outfit is available via the "Nocturne in Whitel" event.

Paradise Prelude marks the arrival of summer-themed content, with new and returning cosmetics for several characters. Fushu's Tidal Repose swimsuit is available for a limited period, while Hilda and Camilla will receive Nightfall Enchantress outfits from 18 August as part of the Crimson Mirage event. Players can also unlock the Blade-run Knight skin for the Bi'an mount. The update introduces a range of limited-time activities, including new story quests in Bloomfield Station: Tales Untold, the Great Chaos of Mechapuppets challenge, and the Golden Journey: Geniemon Derby. Logging in during the White Bunnies' Invitation event until 7 September grants players 10 Prismatic Hourglasses.
