HAEGIN's October 15 update sends players fishing around Kaia Island for dessert ingredients, then rewards them with currency for Halloween crafting. BT21 costumes and accessories arrive in a separate seasonal collection.
On Kaia Island, Bloody the pâtissier has run short of ingredients for a dessert party with the ghosts. HAEGIN released its Sweet Halloween update on October 15, giving players a seasonal fishing event tied to missions and crafting. The company, led by CEO Lee Young-il, announced the update as part of Play Together's Halloween content.
Bloody needs ingredients
The story begins on the Night of the Red Moon. Its energy has brought new Sweet Fish to the waters around Kaia Island, including Whipped Cream Octopuses and Mint Starfish. Players can catch the unusual fish as dessert ingredients, then help Bloody prepare treats for the ghosts' party.
Fishing supplies the event's ingredients. Missions and crafting carry the activity forward, connecting the ghost-party story to the wider seasonal event.
Missions unlock rewards
Players earn Ghost Macarons, an event-exclusive currency, through the Spooky Attendance log. Ghost Dessert Order missions also award the macarons. Bloody's Recipe Book missions provide another way to collect them.
The currency can be spent at a workshop in the special event zone to craft Halloween items. ZDNet Korea reported that the update also includes a separate Trick or Treat! minigame. Its themed prizes include costumes. Vehicles and furniture are also among the rewards.
The crafting route differs from the item-driven run described in NGB's Plume coverage, where consumed items alter combat abilities and support crop-growing. In Play Together, fishing supplies ingredients, while missions pay out the currency used for event crafting.
BT21 joins Halloween
The update adds BT21 digital items under a Fluffy Halloween theme. The announced collection includes Fluffy Monster Costumes and Fluffy Monster Keyrings. Halloween T-shirts are also part of the collection, along with hats.
The LINE FRIENDS Virtual Store in the Plaza will receive a Halloween-themed makeover during the event. The change gives the store a seasonal look alongside the game's event zone.
Event activities award Ghost Macarons for use at the workshop. Trick or Treat! offers a separate set of Halloween-themed rewards, including costumes. Vehicles and furniture are also available through the minigame. Inven Global reported the BT21 Fluffy Halloween collection as part of the update. Play Together shares further details through its official Naver Cafe and Instagram.
