CRKD has begun global shipments of the ATOM+, a $29.99 pocket controller for Nintendo Switch 2, Switch 1, PC, mobile devices, tablets and Smart TVs.
CRKD has started shipping the ATOM+ worldwide. It puts a full controller layout into a device small enough to hang from a keychain. The collectible controller supports Nintendo® Switch™2 | 1, PC, mobile devices, tablets and Smart TVs through Bluetooth® connectivity. Its MSRP is $29.99 / €34.99 / £29.99 / A$54.99. The launch comes as Nintendo continues publishing official Nintendo Switch 2 product and news materials in September 2026. The platform's accessory market remains active.
Small hardware
The ATOM+ follows CRKD's original ATOM controller. It keeps portability at the centre of the design. The controller has twin thumbsticks, action buttons, shoulder buttons, digital triggers and toggle controls. A supplied wrist strap helps owners secure it during play. It can also be attached to a backpack or keychain afterward.
CRKD sells the ATOM+ in Smoke Black, Glacier Blue, Retro Purple and Pal Grey. Its small size is the main selling point. This is a controller meant to travel with the player, not replace a larger setup at home. Independent retail listings still show the original CRKD Atom/ATOM for Nintendo Switch. That suggests the ATOM+ extends an existing miniature-controller line rather than introducing CRKD to the category for the first time.
TMR thumbsticks
The biggest technical change is the use of TMR technology on both thumbsticks. Tunnelling Magnetoresistance sensors measure movement magnetically. CRKD says they provide better precision and lower power consumption than traditional mechanical or Hall-Effect thumbsticks.
CRKD also presents the TMR system as a way to address stick drift. That is a manufacturer claim, not an independently measured long-term result. The ATOM+'s durability will need to be judged through extended use, not its specifications alone.
Features and controls
The controller has vibration feedback, motion control, turbo mode and programmable buttons. Dual four-way toggle buttons provide quick access to system functions. The CRKD Companion App supports button remapping, vibration adjustment, firmware updates and device management through the CRKD CTRL dashboard.

It does not establish measured latency, battery endurance, TMR lifespan or how vibration and motion control behave across different games and devices.
CRKD's wider accessory range offers another price reference. Independent coverage and retail listings cited by DailyStraits place the global launch of the related Nitro Deck 2 in mid-September 2026 at $99.99 / £89.99 / €99.99. That product is not a direct substitute for the ATOM+. Its price shows the much higher tier occupied by CRKD's larger Switch 2-focused accessories compared with the $29.99 pocket controller.
The ATOM+ is aimed at two buyers. One wants a usable multi-platform controller. The other wants a collectible accessory. At its announced price, it could appeal to players looking for an emergency controller for travel. The True Collection System and four colours also target buyers interested in ownership and display. The ATOM+ looks like a focused update to CRKD's miniature-controller idea, not a replacement for a full-sized pad.
For anyone deciding whether the ATOM+ is more than a novelty, the main questions concern endurance and consistency rather than its button count. TMR thumbsticks and wide Bluetooth support give CRKD a credible technical base. Those claims still need real-world testing across the listed platforms. TMR sensors detect changes in magnetic fields instead of relying on the physical contact surfaces used by many traditional sticks. That can reduce one common source of wear. It does not prove that every cause of drift has been eliminated.
