GRYPHLINE has confirmed Arknights: Endfield will appear at Anime NYC in August 2026 and return to gamescom with a larger booth, offering hands-on demos, interactive activities and exclusive rewards for attendees
GRYPHLINE has officially announced that Arknights: Endfield will make its first appearance at Anime NYC from 20-23 August 2026, followed by a return to gamescom in Cologne from 26-30 August. Both events will provide attendees with opportunities to experience the industrial sci-fi RPG through hands-on demos and a range of interactive activities, with the gamescom presence set to be notably larger than in previous years.
Anime NYC Debut
At Anime NYC, held at the Javits Convention Center in New York, Arknights: Endfield will be available at Booth #2105. The event will feature playable access to the 'Homecoming' demo, alongside character-themed activities such as the Chubby Lung Basketball Challenge and photo opportunities with the inflatable dancing tube man. Returning giveaways include the Perlica Tote Bag, previously distributed at Anime Expo and Japan Expo, as well as a lucky draw for exclusive prizes. A roaming Perlica mascot will also be present for fan interactions and photos throughout the show.
Expanded Gamescom Presence
For gamescom 2026, Arknights: Endfield will occupy a significantly larger space in Hall 8.1 at Koelnmesse, with booths B012 and B021. The booth will incorporate a broader selection of experiential activities and interactive photo installations, aiming to increase attendee engagement over the five-day event. Visitors can participate in interactive giveaway stations and test their skills in on-site Boss Speedrun Challenges, with event-exclusive rewards on offer. A live leaderboard will track results, and top performers will advance to the on-stage Final Challenge Tournament.
Technical Features and Platform Availability
Arknights: Endfield represents the franchise's first expansion beyond mobile, bringing its strategic gameplay to PlayStation 5, PC (via the official launcher and Epic Games Store), and mobile devices. The game supports cross-platform progression and leverages advanced graphical technologies, including native 120 frames per second support, realistic snow-stepping, environmental puddle reflections, and expanded graphics options such as DLSS 4.5, improved PSSR, and FSR 3. Ongoing free content updates have been released since launch, with new Operators, maps, boss fights, and gameplay mechanics added as part of a post-launch roadmap. The title launched on 22 January 2026 and is rated "T" for Teen by the ESRB.
Arknights: Endfield's event schedule follows a broader trend of major gaming showcases expanding their physical presence and interactive offerings. For example, the recent INDIE Live Expo winter showcase also highlighted the growing importance of in-person engagement and live demonstrations for both established and emerging titles.
Cross-platform progression allows players to maintain their game progress and unlocks across multiple devices, whether on console, PC, or mobile. This system is increasingly common in modern live-service and multiplatform games, reducing friction for players who switch between platforms. It also enables more flexible play sessions and can help maintain player engagement by removing barriers between hardware ecosystems.
