Palworld card game shipment projection tops 11 million packs

Bushiroad expects worldwide shipments of Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME products to pass 11 million packs by early November. Official demo sessions have drawn 24,123 participants.

Bushiroad expects planned worldwide shipments of the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME to pass 11 million packs by early November. The figure covers its first two booster products. It is a shipment projection, not a completed sales total, but it gives the new tabletop game a sizable early commercial marker only months after its global launch.

Early sales projection

The estimate covers Booster Pack "Dawn of Palpagos" and Booster Pack "Legends Awaken". Bushiroad announced the figure on PR TIMES ahead of the second set's release on 30 October 2026. The combined planned shipment volume is expected to pass 11 million packs worldwide by early November.

That distinction matters. Bushiroad has not presented 11 million as a final audited sales result. The figure refers to planned worldwide shipments, not confirmed purchases by consumers. The announcement also does not break the projection down by region, product or sales channel. It does show that Bushiroad is measuring demand through physical product shipments, rather than only registrations or event attendance.

The project began its commercial life with a simultaneous worldwide launch on 30 July 2026. Booster Pack "Dawn of Palpagos" came out that day with Red, Blue, Green, Purple and Colorless as its featured colours.

Gamebiz reports that the first booster contains seven cards and was priced at 440 yen per pack. A box contains 12 booster packs. A carton contains 12 boxes. The recommended prices are 5,280 yen for a box and 63,360 yen for a carton. The second booster, "Legends Awaken", is scheduled for 30 October 2026 and is expected to stay in the same price range.

Demo network expands

Official demo sessions have attracted 24,123 participants worldwide, according to Bushiroad. The programme began in Japan and then moved to events and card shops in international markets. It gives prospective players a way to learn the rules before buying into the wider product line.

Those sessions are not the same measure as pack shipments or consumer sales. Bushiroad has not said how many attendees later bought cards or joined organised play. The sessions provide a direct introduction to a two-player competitive game built around deploying teams of Pals, collecting resources and placing structures to control the field.

Each Pal has distinct characteristics meant to support different strategies. That gives the game a clear competitive base. The announcement does not provide tournament results, deck data, balance information or independent assessments of the metagame.

Next products

The release schedule is already moving quickly. Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1 was released by 2 October 2026. Booster Pack "Legends Awaken" follows on 30 October 2026. The sleeve set includes one pack of 75 Regular Size sleeves measuring approximately 92x67mm, along with seven card types totalling 10 cards.

The set includes five new card types, with two copies each of Cattiva, Depresso, Chillet, Quivern and Grizzbolt. It also includes two random parallel cards. Gamebiz describes the product as having special sleeves and five cards with new text. It is more than a storage accessory. The set adds a small batch of new cards and gives collectors a themed way to protect their decks.

The first booster set's product information is available through an official release calendar covering October and November gaming launches. Bushiroad also lists dedicated product pages for "Dawn of Palpagos", "Legends Awaken" and Sleeve & Card Set Vol.1. The first booster costs 440 yen per pack, 5,280 yen per box and 63,360 yen per carton at the recommended prices. The second booster is expected to use the same price range.

What players receive

Bushiroad publishes and releases the game internationally. Yuhodo developed its game system. The underlying intellectual property belongs to Pocketpair, the creator of Palworld. The Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME brings the world and core ideas of Palworld into a physical competitive format.

The game is designed for two players. They build a field through Pal deployment, resource collection and structure placement instead of simply trading attacks between individual creatures.

The wider franchise gives that experiment a large potential audience. Since Palworld entered Early Access on 19 January 2024, its total player count across Steam®, Xbox, PlayStation®5 and Mac has passed 32 million worldwide. That figure belongs to the video game across its listed platforms. It is not a forecast for card-game customers, so the two numbers should not be treated as interchangeable.

After the second booster, the announced product roadmap includes two starter decks titled "Eternal Ascent" on 18 December 2026. A third booster with the same title is scheduled for 29 January 2027. These dates show that Bushiroad and its partners are planning a continuing product line, rather than a release limited to the first two boosters.

The clearest evidence is narrower than a broad franchise comparison. Bushiroad has a worldwide launch, a projected shipment volume above 11 million packs, 24,123 demo participants and more products scheduled from October 2026 into January 2027. Those facts point to an organised effort to turn Palworld recognition into a repeatable tabletop ecosystem. They do not yet establish long-term sales, competitive health or player retention.

For now, the card game has passed the main early test described in this announcement. It has generated enough projected demand to support a second booster and an accessory set in its first release cycle. The projection is not a final result. Still, the combination of global distribution and physical demonstrations makes this more than a one-off licensed product launch. ©PALWORLD ©Bushiroad

Pack shipments count products moving through the commercial chain. Player counts measure people who have accessed a game. Neither metric alone shows how deeply an audience is engaged. The measured conclusion is that the Palworld OFFICIAL CARD GAME has built a sizable early footprint. Its next test is whether the October releases turn that initial reach into sustained play and collecting.
