NARAKA: BLADEPOINT Opens Golden Triumph Week With Free Rewards

NetEase Games has started Golden Triumph Week in NARAKA: BLADEPOINT, offering 2,000 Gold, limited-time cosmetics and three Seasonal Choice Chests. The Devourer Season will also add Kael, underwater combat changes and more October content.

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT has started a return campaign for players. Golden Triumph Week is live after the game's Asian Games competition. NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment are offering 2,000 Gold, nine limited-time cosmetics and three Seasonal Choice Chests. The event arrives ahead of the Devourer Season and its new combat systems.

Rewards lead the push

The first step is simple: log in and play. The event offers 2,000 Gold and a chance to earn nine time-limited cosmetics, including an Extreme Outfit for Viper Ning. The three Seasonal Choice Chests let players choose additional rewards instead of receiving only a single login bonus.

According to the official release from NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment carried by PR Times, Golden Triumph Week rewards normal play and logins. Players do not need to complete an activity outside the game. The gifts will be distributed during the event, and one Seasonal Choice Chest is scheduled for October 1.

The announcement uses both "Golden Week Celebration" and "Golden Triumph Week" for the promotion. The player offer is the same either way. Players return to matches and earn rewards during the current seasonal cycle.

That is a more direct setup than the community-gated rewards described in earlier launch coverage. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT ties its rewards to participation in the game. Players do not have to solve an external puzzle before receiving a benefit.

Kael changes combat

Kael is the main gameplay addition in the Devourer Season. His abilities focus on consumption and growth. He can consume resources to grow stronger, charge through opponents and summon a black hole that pulls enemies closer while absorbing incoming attacks.

The official release gives October 9, 2026, as the start date for Devourer Season. It names Kael, underwater combat, weapon-action updates and a collaboration with The Legend of Qin as major parts of the season. That puts Golden Triumph Week ahead of the main seasonal launch. The announced features should not be treated as already available.

Kael has a clear role in the season's combat design, but the announcement gives no balance values, cooldowns or restrictions. The concept is confirmed. Its effect on competitive play will depend on how the finished abilities work in real matches.

Other combat systems are changing too. The Katana will gain a counterattack mechanic. The updated Congeneric Weapon system is meant to support more tactical weapon switching during fights. These changes affect decisions in regular encounters, not just the cosmetic side of the game.

Wanqu goes deeper

Wanqu is also expanding. The game describes it as NARAKA: BLADEPOINT's first amphibious map. Its underwater combat will grow, and improved movement underwater will let heroes perform aerial grabs. Ultimate states will increase swimming speed. A new Harpoon is planned for the middle of the season.

The underwater changes are among the update's clearest new features. The source does not give an exact date for the Harpoon. It also does not say how many encounters will use the expanded aquatic areas. Players know what is planned, but not the full schedule or how much of a match will take place underwater.

The available numbers are concentrated in the event rewards and the wider season plan: 2,000 Gold, nine limited-time cosmetics, three Seasonal Choice Chests, 60 new pieces of equipment and 80 PvE stages. These figures describe the advertised size of the campaign and expansion. They do not prove how much value or lasting appeal the content will provide.

October content builds

The season is set to continue through a busy October. The Legend of Qin crossover will add a new battlefield challenge. Hongmen Banquet will bring strategy, changing alliances and betrayal. A major PvE expansion will add 60 equipment pieces and 80 stages. Suffer No Demon will return in Showdown.

Takeda Nobutada is also due to join the hero roster before the season ends. The announcement does not give an exact arrival date for the new hero or the crossover content. These additions are planned seasonal content, not features confirmed as available when the announcement was published.

Golden Triumph Week follows the end of NARAKA: BLADEPOINT's Asian Games competition. The developers tied the event to medals won by the Chinese team. China Daily reported that the competition took place on September 23 and 24, 2026. The final was held on September 24 at Aichi Sky Expo. Philstar and VTV also reported the tournament's medal results, including Vietnam's bronze.

NetEase Games and 24 Entertainment are using a short reward event to give players a reason to return. Kael, Wanqu's underwater combat and the October roadmap offer reasons to keep playing. The update covers a lot of ground, but its quality will depend on practical details such as balance, encounter frequency and delivery timing.

Golden Triumph Week gives players a reason to revisit NARAKA: BLADEPOINT. The season still has to show that its new systems improve matches instead of simply making the feature list longer.

There is a clear difference between announced content and tested results. A roadmap shows what the developers plan to deliver. It does not show how balanced Kael will be, how smoothly underwater combat will work or whether the PvE expansion will stay engaging across 80 stages. Those questions can be answered only after the content is available and players have tested it. The supplied announcement does not document those results.
