Drakong has opened pre-orders for its modular InfinaKore guitar controller. Website buyers get Kailh Choc switches and a guitar pick strum bar during the pre-order period, which has no announced end date.
The offer has no published end date, leaving buyers without a firm deadline for the extra hardware. Los Angeles-based gaming hardware company Drakong is including a set of clicky, low-profile Kailh Choc switches and a guitar pick strum bar with website pre-orders of its InfinaKore 'Telecaster® Edition' Guitar Controller. GoNintendo described it as the first in a new line of music-game controllers from Drakong.
Pre-Order Offer
The Multi-Platform Edition has a suggested retail price of $129.99 in the US and €129.99 in Europe. In the UK, the price is £119.99. Drakong announced pre-orders on 13 October 2026 and directs buyers to its website. The bonus switches and strum bar are included with website orders during the stated period; the company has not described them as standard accessories with every retail purchase.
Drakong is targeting rhythm games such as Fortnite® Festival, along with community-made titles. That describes the intended market, not verified compatibility or performance: the announcement offers no independent testing for individual games.
Modular Design
Owners will be able to customise the controller's body and top fret buttons using 3D-printed parts. Drakong also names the tuner head, whammy bar and strum bar as customisable components. The company plans to release the design files for free when the hardware ships.
One less familiar feature is the Fret-Tapping D-Pad, which Drakong says offers another way to play music games. The announcement describes the control but provides no detailed demonstration. It also does not explain how the pad maps to specific games, so its practical difference from conventional guitar-controller inputs remains unclear.
Drakong says the InfinaKore supports open-source mods and was designed with accessibility as a priority. The company calls this approach "Accessibility First" and says players can adapt the controller to different physical needs. The announcement does not identify supported mods or specific accessibility configurations. NGB has also covered a separate music-focused release, a rhythm-platformer demo. That was a game; the InfinaKore is a physical controller.
Platforms and Connections
Drakong lists PC and PC handhelds among the supported platforms. The list also includes Nintendo® Switch 1|2™ and PlayStation®*. XBOX®* is named as well. Smartphones and smart TVs are included, too. GoNintendo's report specifically mentions Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. For connections, Drakong lists USB-C and 2.4GHz wireless. Bluetooth® is also included. The asterisks beside PlayStation® and XBOX® appear without explanation, and the announcement does not spell out requirements for specific devices or games.
The product remains at the pre-order stage. Drakong has given a price and described planned features, but has not announced a hardware release date. The free 3D-print files are due when the hardware is released.
Here, modularity refers to selected physical parts that can be replaced or customised. It does not mean buyers can redesign the electronics or every component. The planned files would let players make their own external parts; the pre-order bundle separately supplies switches and a strum bar. Drakong has not said that every custom part will come in the box.
