There is so much information coming out of the Comic-Con 2011 right now, and Beenox have just added to it by announcing a release date for Spider-Man: Edge Of Time.

It has been a while since there was a release of such an exciting Spider-Man game, so we’re hoping this one will live up to expectations.

The game is based on Spider-Man in 2099 trying to stop scientist Walker Sloan from causing havoc and killing the legend that is Peter Parker. Of course, our friendly neighbourhood Spider-Man vows to stop all attempts at Sloan’s evilness. Other confirmed characters at this time are Black Cat and Mary Jane Watson (Peter Parker’s love interest).

Spider-Man: Edge Of Time will be released on the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, Nintendo DSi and Nintendo 3DS on October 4th.
