Konami has today released some brand new screenshots their soon-to-be-released action title, Blades of Time.

Placing you in the virtual shoes of sword-wielding treasure hunter Ayumi, whose quest for riches is interrupted as a demonic creature wreaks havoc across the fantasy realm of Dragonland. Ayumi is then charged with taking down the evil overlord whilst evolving her sword-wielding skills and learning new abilities, such as rewinding time.

The screenshots look mighty impressive, showcasing Blades of Time’s varied landscapes, aerial combat, attacks, spells and weapons. It has a touch of the Heavenly Sword about its overall look, but seeing as that was a very good game, we’ll be keeping a keen eye on this before it is released on the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 in March.
