Ubisoft has announced that a 360/PS3 demo of Tom Clancy’s HAWX 2 will be available to download from Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network from “the middle of August”.

HAWX 2′s Game Content Director Bogdan Bridinel revealed the news in a live interview with Strategy Informer this afternoon, revealing that the demo will give gamers the opportunity to try out some of the game’s new features; presumably take-off and landing, mid-air refuelling, and if you’re lucky, four-player co-op.

“At least on consoles, there will be a demo before the launch of the game,” said Bridinel.

“The demo will be online sometime in the middle of August, I’m afraid I do not know the exact date. All I know is that we’ve already built it :)

“The demo will features (sic) some of the new features we talked about earlier. Hope you will enjoy it!”

Tom Clancy’s HAWX 2 launches on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 on September 3rd. According to Bridinel, the PC version will follow one to two weeks later.
