NCsoft have today revealed that Beta access will be granted to those that Pre-Purchase Guild Wars 2 as well as detailing the games Collectors Edition.
Pre-Purchasing ArenaNet’s soon to be released MMO will bag you an invite to the upcoming Beta weekends, 3 days of early access ahead of the games launch, and even an in-game item in the form of ‘Hero’s Band’. The band will provide stat bonuses as follows: +2 Power, +2 Precision, +2 Toughness, +2 Vitality, +2 Condition Damage, +2 Healing, and +2% Critical Damage.
The collectors edition will feature a detailed, hand-painted 25 centimetre statue of the bestial warrior Rytlock Brimstone wielding his signature flaming sword. Players will also receive a custom art frame with 5 Guild Wars 2 art prints, a 112 page book detailing the making of Guild Wars 2, and a “Best of Guild Wars 2” soundtrack. All that plus five exclusive in-game items, including a Mistfire Wolf that will fight alongside players and a miniature Rytlock who will accompany them on their travels through Tyria.
The Collectors Edition is said to offer an “unparalleled collection of physical content that goes beyond the game“. It will almost certainly inflict unparalleled pain on your bank balance, coming in at a whopping €149.99/£129.99. If you are looking for something a little cheaper, the Digital Deluxe retails at €74.99/£64.99 and the Standard Edition will cost just €54.99/£49.99.

It is important to note that these are minimum requirements, if you wish to play Guild Wars 2 in all its glory then a much beefier system will be required.
