Final Fantasy Versus XIII Still In Development

Good news now for all you Final Fantasy fans as Square Enix have confirmed that Final Fantasy Versus XIII is indeed still in development.

We brought you the news last week that there was a rumor going around that Square Enix may have cancelled development of Final Fantasy Versus XIII. Square Enix boss Yoichi Wada has come out and stated the following via Twitter:

“There’s someone making a false rumour that Versus was cancelled,” he said. “Haha… just a minute ago, the regular Versus meeting ended. If you saw the presentation of the city, it’d knock you off your feet – lol.”

I’m really satisfied to hear this. I’m relieved and be able to breath normally again. x’D Reading the last week blog about `Final Fantasy XVIII Versus canceled` really took me by the shoulders and shook me off unconcious. I was really dissapointed and really upset. I knew that the blog report was just a rumor and wasn’t true, I was just uncertained if it was or not.
But now that my hero Yoichi Wada himself noticed us that it was all a lie. I mean come on! 6 years of waiting for this game. I really am happy and very very satisfied. I can’t wait! :D Hurry it up Square ! ~
