Perhaps the worst kept secret of E3 2012, Battlefield 3 Premium is indeed a thing and will give players access to upcoming DLC.
The premium package will cost $50, giving players early access to downloadable content which includes new guns, vehichles and Battlelog features.
The steep price is said to be worth it with individual parts of the package said to add up to $75, that’s a $25 saving if you were planning to purchase everything anyway.
No doubt more details will emerge from the EA press conference which is due to take place shortly.
For now you can checkout the trailer but stay tuned to NGB for everything E3 2012.
UPDATE – The Close Quarters DLC is out now for premium users on PS3, next week for 360 and PC.
