When the beta begins gamers will be able to choose from nine characters – Sentinel, Vanguard, Guardian, Vizier, Thespian, Deacon, Bombardier, Trickster and Champion. The maps included in the beta will be Knight’s Hospital, Antioch, and Constantinople. To finish off, there will be four playable modes – Wanted, Manhunt, Deathmatch and Artifact Assault.

At present, there is no exact date at when the beta will go live for the public (i.e. those that are not members of PlayStation Plus or Uplay). However, we will keep you posted as soon as we get more details.

Ubisoft also released a video today showing off all of the titles in the Assassins Creed series entitled ‘Assassin’s Creed Universe’. In the video, you see clips from all the games that have been released in the past as well as parts from Revelations, which is due to be released in November.
