"Full time geek, part time adult" is the motto. Anime/Manga obsessed, games whore and long time Zelda fiend. You might find me at a gym, or worshiping at the alter of Hideo Kojima, depending on the time of day.
Alan Curdie is Senior Editor at WENB and a massive fan of the PES series, gaming and of course football in general. His first exposure to video games was back in the Atari 2600 era. Fair to say things have progressed somewhat since then, and it would also be fair to say that he hasn't.
Writes and produces films at independent outfit Shortorme Productions. Records music under the guise of Stage of History. Gamer since the days of the ZX Spectrum. Always on the lookout for something new and fresh.
The Editor-in-Chief at Kitana Media Network. It's about the game, not the platform. Metal Gear fanatic. Hideo Kojima is God. Loves football. Why not follow him on Twitter (see below) and read his day-to-day ramblings. It's mostly about football and gaming!
You know you're a gamer when you live for the smell of a feshly opened game, mmmmmmm yes!
I fell in love with games the day I was given a NES which came with Teenage Mutant Nunja Turtles and Mario Bros. Since then my tastes have developed and I'll happily play most genres, but I can tell you that scary games are a no go! I also try to avoid realistic racing titles. It's Mario Kart for the win!
My all time favourite game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of time. Link is my idol. You can call me Link if you like, failing that most friends call me Chizel. Except this rowdy NGB lot who have adopted a number of variotns on Le Sueur. It's all goooooooood!

I am a lifelong gamer and have been happily writing about video games for some time now.
You are most likely to find me engrossed in a point and click adventure game, or playing some Retro arcade classics.
